Do you recognise these five signs?
Registered letters are (too) expensive
Sharp tariff hikes for physical mail have become commonplace in recent years. Businesses find themselves digging deeper and deeper into their pockets, not just for stamped mail but for registered mail as well.
You lack flexibility in processing at the post office
Electronic mail offers more flexibility and your mail is easier to plan, also in advance. Sending registered mail after office hours? Not a problem with electronic registered mail.
You can’t track your registered mail
With physical mail there is a track & trace functionality but even then unexpected delays often leave you in the dark. Also, you can’t be 100% certain your message has reached its intended recipient.
The legal value of physical registered mail is (more) limited
With physical mail the burden of proof is limited to the fact that an addressed envelope has been sent. However, if a dispute arises that must be settled in court, you are unable to prove the exact content of the letter.
